History and process Over 50 years ago, factory workers on car assembly lines developed the paintless dent removal method. In the late l 940's and early 1950s, Mercedes Benz and BMW used "Pick Men" to overcome the need to halt assembly lines because of imperfections in the metal. Due to advances in assembly line technology, Paintless Dent Repair almost became a lost art until its revitalization in the early 1990s. The P.D.R. industry has perfected its techniques and expanded its uses over the past 20 years, and has become today's alternative to auto body repair.
Hail Dents Paintless Dent Repair doesn't cover up the dents, it eliminates them! P.D.R. does not alter the factor finish which in turn holds the resale value of the vehicle. The total operation time, materials used, and expenses are a fraction of its body shop counterpart. Technicians use specially designed tools to access the underside of the dent, allowing them to massage the metal back to its original shape. At no time during the process is a vehicle sanded, painted, or filled with bondo. Our qualified technicians can make almost any damaged vehicle look like new again
